Loss of forms manager settings or billing setup

If I lose my forms manager settings or my billing setup, is there any way to recover them rather than have to re-set everything manually?

Yes. You can make a backup of your "INI" files, which contain the information pertaining to your setups. Should you lose these settings, you would then be able to recover them by restoring them with your backup using the following procedure:

Making a diskette backup of the INI files

1. In the Tools menu, select Backup, and again Backup...

2. In the window labelled Select files for backup, click INI files once, then click Next.

3. In the window labelled Select a directory of file name for backup, enter the path A:\Back.001 and click Finish.

   The message "Backup completed" should now appear in the DT Max log.

Restoring the INI files

1. In the Tools menu, select Restore, and again Restore...

2. In the window labelled Select a directory or file name for restore, select the file "Back.001" located on the diskette (A:\).

3. At the prompt Please insert last disk of set, click Next, then click OK.

4. In the same window as step 2, click the symbol at the left of "INI files", then hold down the [Ctrl] key and click each file with an INI extension that you wish to restore. Do not select the file named DT1EFSU.GBL.

5. Click Finish.

   The message "Restore completed" should now appear in the DT Max log.
